I played it, but it's not really as good as FFX.
But I like it though.

btw, I love the intro theme. It's by far the best FF theme. ^_^

I totally agree with yuki-san ^^ ffx was better, but still ffx-2 had me hooked on that thing for hours and hours so it wasn't bad Paine was my favourite char though

ffx-2 i think suked it ruined the whole ffx story line ffx was awesome but x-2 just was horrible

I've played it, and for me it's a mixed bag. I like it, yet there are parts I thought they could have improved on.

The dress sphere feature was a nice little addition, which slightly improved on the original job changing ability. The ability to choose how the storyline developed, and what side story-lines to choose was a little good as well. The main storyline however, while I thought it was good, could have been a little better. Blitzball doesn't feel the same as well.

The battle system was the standard ATB system again, and I thought they could have changed that. I also noticed that there were attacks that could hit more than one of your characters if the target character was next to the other two. Because of this, I think it would have been good to be able to move the three during battle, for tactical purposes.

That's all I have to say from the subject. Ladies and Gentlemen, you may now pick apart my post!

Uhm, both FFX and FFX-2 were crap. They looked pretty. FFX liked to pretend it had a decent character development, when it didn't. FFX-2 was a charlie's angel RPG with 8 hours of gameplay with 100 hours of sidequests that weren't worth it. Square hasn't made a decent game since FF7 came out - and that's FACTUAL.

that's where you're mistaken, sure FFVII was really good, square has made many more great FF games afterwards! it's just hard to live up to FFVII, but they were all great quality games! I should know since I played all of em ^^ you're just being too critical! there's nothing factual about your statement either, cause a LOT of gamers really liked the other FF's , what you just posted is an opinion my friend^^

What you posted is an opinion as well. I agree with him to an extent. Square has some good games, but 90% of them are crap (I include FF7 in this by the way)

yes you're right, but I didn't say it wasn't an opinion he can feel that way^^ nobody can say for sure that they are bad games and then say that that is a fact ! cause the player decides that for himself^^ it's unfair to square, and to the people who did like em!

Final Fantasy X-2 was okay. It wasn't spectacular. 1000 Words was a pretty good song. The storyline was alright, if not slightly flawed. However, I've seen much worse. I agree that the Blitzball shouldn't have been turned into a coaching sim. It was fine as a turn based game.

I like the good looking girls in skimpy outfits.

Overall, I think Final Fantasy X-2 was an experiment by Square-Enix to see if they could visit a world a second time in the series and still make a good game, much like Final Fantasy II was an exploration in RPG storyline and gameplay.

 

I think they should have just used Vegnagun to crush Sin anyways. "A weapon that slaughters indescriminately would too dangerous to use against Sin"? It can't see how it could be any more dangerous than Sin itself. At least one of them would get destroyed in their battle and Spira would have one less destructive force to worry about.
