Do You Believe In True Love? <3

Yes, I think that somewhere in this world there's the one for me.. but i've got to find him...
Anyways.. What do you think? Do you believe in true love?

Contrary to popular belief, yes, I do believe in 'True Love'. If there was no true love, then what are we living for? We experence so much pain growing up, if there's nothing at the end of it all to counteract the pain, there's no point in life.

Personally I've found love, maybe that might make my opinion biased, but think about it, why do we live if not to find something perfect? What's the point of going through anything if we're never truely going to be happy? That's why I believe in it.

I do not believe there is such a thing as false love. So by default; yes, I believe in true love. I however am sceptical to the concept of love. It's all just hormones in the end. In any case, it is severely overrated.

I beg to differ. Hormones -I'll agree- are partially to blame, but you can only blame hormones for the attraction. To feel such a close connection to a person, and to be able to say that touching them doesnt matter as long as you can spend time with them, and that you'd die without a second thought for this person, you'd have to be feeling more than just the effects of hormones.

I don't mean to neglect your opinion, Dieselmannen, you make a good point. But "false love" is basically infatuation, and love is love. You can't blame that feeling on hormones. Love is overrated, just like a lot of things, but like the overrated band Led Zeppelin, it's still an amazing thing.

That's just my opinion though.

ya i believe in true love...only, i believe nobody ever finds it...it's like perfection...in my opinion, perfection is just a myth...i don't find anything to be perfect...not ever 100% on a test.

so i believe there is a such thing as 'true love' but i don't believe it can be found until we are first of all, mature, and second of all, fully developed human beings (physically, emotionall, spiritually, and psychologically)

I agree that 'fasle love' isn't love at all. But I think that the false love is love based strictly on hormones. Real "true love" I think is a lot more complicated than just science. Love is an emotion and it's a reall poweful thing.

Love + hormones makes people feel the way they do about other people, and act on those feelings. I personally don't believe hormones can control our metaphorical "Heart".

I loved truley once though i'm 21, I found a true love.There isn't just one for one person out there that I know of,I once loved a person with all of my hart and soul and lost them.Some times I cannot imagin another out there for me,but yes I still belive no matter how much losing my last hurt.

I believe in it yes, but only in certain circumstances. True love is exceedingly rare, and only comes when someone loves someone with their entire heart and soul, and not for their looks. They must love them for their spirit, for their personality, for who they are. The other person must feel the same way. They must know each other's souls as no one else in either of their lives. It is nearly impossible to find, and comes in the form of undying respect and absolute love.

But the real question is: what is love? Is it simply hormones or is it something more? Is it the feeling one feels in one's heart of hearts: the feeling to care about someone no matter who they are or who they become? The feeling to protect someone even if it means to forsake you own life? Or is that just ignorance?

Do I believe in true love? I don't know because I don't really know what love is. Bacause to me love cannot be defined.

I believe it exists, but it's hard to find, but I think what u have as you get older is ur true love, whether it's a person, a job, or a material possesion, even if u don't have a person, whatever/whoever makes u happy is ur true love, and my advice is to never let someone else's opinion stop u from what u love
